Florida Inclusion Network

The Florida Inclusion Network (FIN) collaborates with all districts and schools to provide customized services and supports ensuring all students with disabilities have the same educational, social, and future opportunities as their peers.

Services:
Provides services to schools and districts to increase and improve inclusive practices for students with disabilities in general education classrooms and other natural settings.

Provides families with a variety of information and resources.
Upon request, contacts the district’s exceptional student education (ESE) office or school to discuss concerns on behalf of the family.
Provides information pertaining to effective inclusive practices, family-school collaboration and communication, opportunities for networking with other families, and ways to access local resources and support.
Provides free family-focused resources to families and schools.
Provides a toll-free parent conference call and forum on inclusive practices on the first Friday of each month.
Promotes, coordinates, and facilitates the Best Practices in Inclusive Education (BPIE) continuous improvement assessment process for districts.
Provides and facilitates a FIN Service Plan for districts and/or individual school sites as requested.
Provides Building Inclusive Schools E-Learning Modules for administrative, instructional and support personnel working with students with disabilities.
